Weezer's new single and video give Bow Wow worse gas than a bowl of Chili Peppers.

Our Favorite Meal

There is something about pork and beans that make it such a satisfying meal. We’re pretty sure that it has everything to do with the gas it leaves you with but to avoid sounding immature we will just say that it’s kind of a comfort food. When Weezer released their new single ‘Pork and Beans’ we were a bit thrown off by the title choice but after listening to the song and watching the video we realize why they chose the song title…it stinks worse than post pork and beans gas. The video features cameos by some of YouTube’s most famous characters which is kind of a boring concept seeing as how videos parodying or utilizing videos from YouTube have become all the rage. Nonetheless check out Weezer’s video for ‘Pork and Beans’ below:

Bow Wow Bounces

In a shocking announcement, Bow Wow has decided to retire from the rap game. What we want to know is if anyone that isn’t an underage girl will notice or care? With hip-hop in the sad state it is currently in, we actually invite the rapper’s (used in extremely loose terms) decision; however, we wish he was retiring from the entertainment industry altogether but he’s actually retiring from rap to pursue a career in acting. In a statement regarding his decision Bow Wow says "After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting. I'm going to try to be the next Will Smith."

If anything Bow Wow should pursue a career in comedy because if he actually believes he is going to be the next Will Smith he is out of his goddamned mind. Even though he played a serious role in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," we aren’t sure that is going to translate in to him being successful at the box office. What’s worse is that he’s going to have a recurring role on the new season of “Entourage” which basically means one of our favorite shows is dead to us.

Ice Cold Chili Peppers

Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante and Chad Smith, the four men that make up The Red Hot Chili Peppers, have decided to take it easy and announced that the band will be going on hiatus for a while. The band, just like the general population, was probably growing tired of their sound that has remained unchanged for at least the last decade. It’s undecided how long the hiatus will last but Kiedis said the guys agreed to not do anything RHCP related for at least a year.

This could very well turn in to an indefinite hiatus much like what happened to Blink 182 a couple years ago. A band announces that they are taking a break and then they all move on to other solo projects that they find more fulfilling in the end. Realistically, how long can a grown man run around on stage with his dick in a sock?
